Autumn
During our ‘Autumn’ topic, the children learned about and explored the signs of Autumn by going on an Autumn walk. The children enjoyed finding out about Harvest time and life on the farm. They learned how to plant bulbs and explore what bulbs and plants need to grow. They also explored different mini beasts and what happens to them during Autumn time. The children learned about the process of hibernation and why some animals do this. During this topic, the children also learned about different celebrations such as Remembrance Sunday, Diwali and Christmas.
